About Me - Rebecca 

I am a Graduate Librarian within Research and Reference Services at the Barr Smith Library. I commenced this position in August 2008. My duties include: working on the research help desk, conducting library orientation sessions and tours of the library, running general library sessions in RSS, Google and Academic Search Premier, website maintenance and other duties as required.

 

Previous to this position I worked for 3.5 years as an Information Officer at the Department of Public Health and SACHRU at Flinders University.

 

Qualifications

I have a Bachelor of arts majoring in Multimedia Studies and sub majoring in Professional Writing from the University of South Australia. I have a graduate diploma in Information Studies also from the University of South Australia.

 

About me - Brenna

I am also a Graduate Librarian at the Barr Smith Library, working in Metadata services. I commenced this position in August 2008. My duties include: cataloging a wide range of items, working on the research help desk, conducting library orientation sessions and tours of the library, running general library sessions in RSS, Google and Academic Search Premier and other duties as required.

 

Before starting as a Graduate Librarian, I worked for about a year in the Elder Music Library as a library officer, and for 1.5 years in a public library prior to this.

 

Qualifications

I have a Bachelor of Arts majoring in Anthropology and Philosophy from the University of Adelaide. I have a graduate diploma in Information Studies also from the University of South Australia. I am also currently studying for a Masters in Cultural Heritage through Deakin University.
