Joanne Beazley

Hi there,

My name is Jo Beazley and I can now call myself a librarian, having just gained part-time work last week as a Young People's Librarian at the Toowoomba City Library. I also work as a library assistant at the same library for the rest of the week. I am a new grad, having completed my Grad dip last year from Charles Sturt University. I also have a Bachelor of Arts majoring in English Literature from the University of New England.

Acknowledge the Past

I have used my eportfolio firstly as a repository for all my documentation, ie qualifications, certificates etc.

Embrace the Present

I created a CV for job hunting and a webfolio that can showcase some of my Web 2.0/multimedia interests. I then created a blog to document my learning and professional development journey.

Advance the Future

I view my participation in the joint QUT/ePortfolio project as a small way I can be part of helping our industry advance the future.

You can see more about how I have documented my skills and abilities on my webfolio on this You Tube clip.
